Let us start with the new screen the G6 is packing. It has a screen to body ratio of 80% screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. With this change, LG has effectively fit a 5.7” screen into a form factor no bigger than 5.2”. It feels a lot smaller when compared to the iPhone 7 plus and Pixel XL.
It is also the first phone to support HDR 10 and Dolby vision, with more apps coming out to support the new viewing experience in the future, we are sure this will be a big talking point for all new devices.
The G6 also has a nice surprise right out of the box, that’s right, Google Assistant is ready for use. This makes the G6 the first Non-Pixel device with Assistant featured on it.
The dual cameras are back with 2 13mp sensors. The 125 wide angle lens allows you to fit more into each picture.
The IP68 certification means this device is dust/water resistant to 1.5m depth and 30 min under water.
Even though it’s packing last year’s beastly process, the Snapdragon 821 coupled with 4gb of RAM still gives the power and fluidity to handle even the heaviest gaming.
The LG G6 will retail for around $5000ttd.
